Our delivery service is continuing to develop and our deliveries are continuing to support our elderly, and vulnerable customers each week. We still appreciated new delivery customers in our local area as they help fill up our delivery runs and will hopefully allow us to continue our service after the current crisis is over. And with only 3 allowed in the shop at present, collection orders help us save time on the shop floor. Making up boxes is proving to be an important part of keeping our overall fresh service operating smoothly at present , so we appreciate everyone’s ongoing support.

We’re fortunate to have the shop set out the way it is with large windows clear walkways, and good lighting . So we have been keeping the door open. Please pay special attention to our distancing and hygiene notices if you visit the shop. It’s three household’s on the shop floor at one time so please look in before you come in . Hand sanitiser is in place for your use on entering the shop, and we appreciate card payment.
We do appreciate orders for delivery and collection. It’s been challenging to adapt the business over the last 6 months but everyone has seemed really happy with their boxes and we have been pleased with the quality and value of the produce we were working with. It’s been nice to get things out around the new delivery days when it was all really fresh. Thanks for all the messages of support over the last 6 months. We continue to follow the seasons with our ready made boxes and they are different each week and reflect what is popular in-store.
We are just a small business and our team remains a little a smaller than usual . But we continue to be asked for veg boxes and delivery at the shop . And we know from the trade that our organic boxes offer good value and quality, and so we are happy to continue doing more in the present circumstances as part of making the best quality locally sourced organic fruit and veg more accessible at reasonable prices.
We often work with independent organic farms and have a different supply chain from the supermarkets and most other greengrocers. And we find our low waste supply chain respects growers and results in a better product and a better price for everyone. A lot of our fruit and veg is picked to order and arrives direct from the farm.
Thanks for visiting our page. We expect the current situation will be continue to be a bit of a challenge for us as business and for others at large, but we hope with your support we can keep up our sales of fresh goods. We can keep the prices down, and the quality up only as long as we can keep our weekly orders big enough.
We will attempt to keep this page updated. And we appreciate everyone’s continuing support, patience and consideration through these difficult time. Our sympathies are with those experiencing the worst end of things. We have been in touch with local councillor Alistair Chisholm a local group is in place for those who need more support locally.
Magic hat cafe have also altered their service to include deliveries and are a useful point of support for those experiencing extreme financial hardship.
We hope we continue to get through all of this safely together. It has been a concerning time for us as a community with quite a few elderly and vulnerable customers. We hope we can welcome back all our customers when this is finally over. Thanks for everyone’s ongoing support.
